Be Forward

Be Forward

Be Forward

From my desk, with a branch from my mother’s Christmas cactus in the window, I’m reminded that growth doesn’t end — it changes form. The past can inspire you, but forward is where life happens.

A single branch from my mother’s Christmas cactus sits in the window — still growing, still alive. A quiet reminder to Be Forward.

Forward

I stop and look back. Then I keep moving… only to stop again. Then I move forward again — and stop again.

Why do I keep looking over my shoulder? Everything behind me is the past. It’s over. It’s done.
I can’t change it, yet I keep glancing back anyway.

There’s nothing new back there — and the good things are already mine. If I do look back, it should be to remember my successes.
To remind myself how far I’ve come — and to use that momentum to move forward.

I have to keep moving forward. Stay straight. Stay focused. Control what I can control.
Stuart, stop looking back.

Be confident — ruthlessly confident. Enjoy your successes.
Know what you did was right, and let that knowledge push you forward.

Don’t let your success be dismissed or forgotten.
Remind them. Remind yourself.
Brag without bragging.

You must ooze confidence — so much that everyone around you can’t help but notice.

Let them.

Let them acknowledge your success.
Let them tell you that you look great, that you did great.

Accept the praise. Know you deserve it.
You owe it to yourself to not only accept what you did — but to acknowledge it.

Yes, I did this.
Thank you.
Yes, I am grateful, humbled, and proud.

I’m proud of myself.
I’m oozing with pride and confidence.
And I’m only looking forward.

Keep going — one step, one day, one forward move at a time.
