My Mom
If there’s one person who truly embodied inspiration, it was my mother. She defied every obstacle life threw her way, right up until the very end. Despite having a hole in her belly and a doctor’s report years prior predicting she only had weeks to live, she and my sister drove an RV across the country—not just once, but many times.

A Life of Perseverance
Her strength was unmatched, and her determination to live life fully never wavered. My mom was a force. She wasn’t just surviving; she was thriving, even when the odds were stacked against her.
She faced challenges that would have broken most people. From a quadruple bypass, carotid endarterectomy, and bladder cancer, to hip surgery for a broken hip, she endured it all. But that’s not what defined her. What defined her was her resilience, her will to fight, and the way she kept pushing forward, no matter what.

All the pictures from this collection were taken during a time of illness for my mother. Even in those tough moments, her spirit never dimmed. She was always ready to smile, to keep going, and to find joy in each day.

She taught me so much—about courage, about strength, and about the power of never giving up. She showed me that no matter what life hands you, there’s always a choice: you can either give in, or you can keep going. She kept going, and she inspired everyone around her to do the same.
I’m proud to carry her spirit with me every day, knowing that the lessons she taught me live on. She may no longer be here physically, but her legacy of strength and perseverance will continue to inspire me forever.
