Why I Changed the Title of My Book
That door is open—again.
As most of you know, I published my book back in April.
At the time, I thought it was finished.
I was ready to close that chapter of my life, move forward, and leave the past behind.
But lately...
It felt like the door had opened again.
Like there was unfinished business.
At first, I ignored it.
Stu, there's always going to be something.
It's never really going to end.
But I noticed a pattern.
Every time someone asked me the title of my book...
I'd cringe.
Why?
I'm not entirely sure.
Maybe it was because the title reflected where I had been, not where I am today.
The pain.
The anxiety.
The anger.
Those things are still part of my story.
But they aren't the whole story anymore.
I wanted the title to reflect who I'm becoming, rather than who I was.
At first, I thought maybe I should wait.
I've been working on this for the last two months.
And after these past few weeks...
I considered waiting.
After all, I was just in the ER.
Maybe this isn't the right time.
Maybe I should put it off for a while.
But I don't want to wait.
And I'm not going to.
So...
Today is the day.
The second edition is now available on Amazon.
The book has a new title.
A new cover.
And this time, there’s even a hardcover.
Apparently, I’m getting fancy. 😆
And a new opening chapter explaining why.

If you already own the first edition, don't feel like you need to buy it again.
This isn't a completely new book.
It's the same journey.
It just finally has the title that feels like home.

And...
I have to admit...
I already feel better.
Thank you for believing in me.
Here's to new beginnings.
