You Eat Bacon Every Morning? — YEAH

Yes, I eat bacon every morning—and I’ve never felt better. Smarter choices, consistency, and fitness have given me energy like I’m 20 again.

Crispy bacon sizzling in a pan, part of a balanced breakfast routine.

Yeah, I eat bacon every morning. And I feel better than ever.

Crispy bacon sizzling in a pan, part of a balanced breakfast routine.

Yeah, I eat bacon every morning. And I feel better than ever.

Bacon Every Morning

The other day a friend told me how great I looked. We started talking about how I’ve been working out and walking nearly every day.

Then she asked about my diet.

“What are you doing?”

I said, “Nothing really. I’m just trying to make smarter choices—eating pretty much anything I want. Been doing that for a couple years now.”

Then I added: “Hell, I eat bacon every morning.”

She looked shocked.
“You eat bacon every morning?”

YEAH!

So I told her what I had that morning:
A wrap with two slices of bacon, avocado, cheddar cheese, a boiled egg, onion, red pepper, Duke’s mayonnaise, and a few dashes of Frank’s RedHot.

On the side? Watermelon, cantaloupe, a banana, plus strawberries and blueberries.

She smiled and said, “That’s a great breakfast.”
I said, “Yeah.”

Here’s the truth though: it ain’t easy. It takes time and effort. I hit the grocery store two or three times a week, and my morning routine takes at least three hours.

Being healthy and working on fitness is hard. It takes time. It takes money. Honestly, I’ve never worked this hard on anything in my life.

But you know what? I can’t remember the last time I felt this good. I may not look like it, but I feel like I’m back in my twenties. I’ve got energy. I’ve got a spring in my step. And I’ve got this constant grin I can’t seem to hide.

And I want more.

[Color, balance, and a whole lotta energy on one plate. 🌈✨]

Why didn’t I do this years ago? If I had known how good it would feel, I sure as hell would have.

It makes me want to scream at the top of my lungs to everybody:
GET YO’ ASS IN THE GYM—NOW!
Don’t wait. Start eating better now. You won’t believe how much it can change your life.

But let’s be real: most people won’t listen.
And truth is—you won’t either.

The only person who can tell you this is yourself.
Until you’re ready to make that decision, nothing changes.

I know.
I didn’t listen for years. Woulda, coulda, shoulda.

Oh well. It’s never too late. Right?

It’s true.

🫵 Y’all have a great Thursday.
