A Modern-
Day Journey
👋 Hi, I’m Stu.
Life threw me a curveball called Myositis. So now, instead of running big crews and big jobs, I stick to what I love—helping people with the skills I’ve learned over 40+ years in construction.
These days, I’m your friendly neighborhood handyman for small projects around Easley, Liberty, and Pickens.
Think:
✔ Fixing that leak under the sink
✔ A little paint in the bedroom
✔ Replacing a deck railing
Think “honey-do list,” not “huge new deck.”
How I Work
I only work four days a week, about six hours a day. And if I’ve got an infusion or doctor’s appointment—well, I’m sorry, but I’ll need to schedule around that.
If this sounds good, and you’re open to working around my illness, I’d really appreciate the work.
Why Trust Me?
Before Myositis slowed me down, I:
Owned two construction companies
Worked for three national foundation repair companies
Spent decades crawling under homes and fixing structural nightmares
Handyman + Crawlspace Expert
Here’s the deal:
I’ll take on small handyman jobs—the honey-do list stuff.
But my real passion? Helping people understand their crawlspace.
I’m probably not climbing under your house these days—but I can:
✔ Inspect and point you in the right direction
✔ Save you from a $20,000 “free inspection” upsell
✔ Teach you what actually matters down there
That’s why I built this:

Because life is too short. When you have a chronic illness, everything changes. In the beginning, you ask yourself, Why me? Why did this happen to me?
But now, years later, I find myself asking a different question: How can I enjoy this moment? How can I make the most of today?
