A Day at the Artisphere

A perfect spring day in downtown Greenville filled with art, music, food, and a reminder that maybe crowds aren’t always so bad after all.

Stu sitting where the magic happens.

Downtown Greenville, SC

The Greenville Artisphere is a wonderful way to spend the day. I highly recommend it.

I went back this past weekend after many, many years—and honestly, I was surprised.

I had avoided the event for a long time because crowds at other festivals had started feeling overwhelming.

But this time?

I was pleasantly surprised.

It really wasn’t as busy as I expected. Yay.

The event itself isn’t new. Founded in 2003, Artisphere brings artists from all over the United States together for three days of art, live music, and local food in downtown Greenville.

And the weather could not have been more perfect.

Seventies and sunshine.

I enjoyed myself very much.

I saw a lot of beautiful art and ate a couple birria tacos from Califas—yum.

Then topped the evening off with a scoop of ice cream from Marble Slab Creamery while watching the sunset.

And for my Myositis buddies…

I walked five miles that day. 👊😁

Friends, if you haven’t been lately, mark your calendar for next year…

And swing by to pick me up. 😄

I’ll definitely be going back.
